For us, innovation doesn’t necessarily start with technology. It starts with curiosity. With questioning how something works today and imagining how it could work better tomorrow.
That can mean finding smarter ways to use products and by-products, reducing food waste or improving production processes. It can mean making logistics more efficient, using data to better understand markets or developing new solutions that create value from something that previously had little or no value. And sometimes innovation means bringing the right people or companies together and discovering that, collectively, they can achieve something none of them could have achieved alone.
This is also how we look at business development. It isn’t simply about finding the next product, customer or market. It is about constantly looking for the next better way of doing business.
The questions that shape the future of dairy are not questions we want to answer tomorrow. It are the ones we want to work on today.

Moving Dairy Forward only has meaning when we also think carefully about the direction in which we are moving. Growth, innovation and entrepreneurship come with a responsibility towards our customers and partners, but also towards our people, society and the world around us.
That means looking critically at the way products are sourced, produced, processed and transported. It means finding ways to reduce food waste, optimise logistics and energy use, create more transparent supply chains and use available resources more intelligently. And it means recognising that responsible business is not a separate project alongside our commercial activities, but increasingly part of every decision we make.
We don’t want ESG to become something we do simply because legislation or the outside world expects it from us. We want responsible entrepreneurship to become part of the way we think. And act. Simply because we expect that from ourselves. So there will be always something that we can improve. And that exactly is our point; Moving forward never stops.
